BUFFER SOLUTION, STANDARD (pH)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
This commercial item description covers color coded standard buffer pH4, 7 and 10 solutions used as calibration references for a hydrogen ion test meter.
Salient characteristics:
Shall be pH buffer solutions for use as calibration standards for a hydrogen ion test meter.
Shall be supplied as color coded solutions in suitable plastic containers with sufficient optical clarity to identify the coloring of the liquid content. Each container shall include a colored label that matches the color code of the liquid content. A dispenser type closure cap shall be supplied with each bottle.
Shall be supplied with color coding, ingredients and tolerances conforming to table I.
